Many of us have been reporting trouble getting shells. Many of us also use Firefox. I have discovered something that I want to share with everyone else although I'm probably the last to realise this.

If you use the Flashblock extension, you need to do this:

The next time you load someone's MyHome (other flash on the site doesn't count, the URLs differ apparently), before you click on the Flash icon to load the MyHome, you need to right click on the icon and get the menu. When you see the menu, click "Allow Flash from this site". This will allow the flash in everyone's MyHome to load automatically when you go to their page.

Once you do this, you will get 2-3x as many shells. I went from getting 1-2 a day to getting around 15 yesterday (granted, I did a shell hunt and visited my entire friends list, but even on a regular work day I'd have got at least 5 at that rate). Something about the Flashblock extension inhibits the shell drop even when you click it and allow the flash to work.

Now if I could just figure out a way to not get shitty items from the shell spring, ne?

Today I went through some of my pupe's stuff and got rid of a lot! I sold stuff I didn't wear anymore, recycled stuff with little-to-no value and discovered cute items I forgot I had, plus items I didn't think were worth anything but are. So I'm wondering, do you clean out your pupe's items? How often, if ever? Are there certain types of items you find yourself hoarding? What items can't you bear to get rid of, even if you don't wear it much?

For me, my pupe has a ton of boots. I can't help it, I love them! c:
